I offer a range of therapy services for adults, children, adolescents, parents, and families, as well as diagnostic assessments. Below, I provide a brief explanation of what you can expect from each service.
Adults
People often come to therapy when they are feeling low, anxious, uncertain in their relationships, or simply stuck and unsure how to move forward. Whatever you may be experiencing, I offer a calm and confidential space to explore this at your own pace.
Therapy can support a process of reflection, deeper understanding, and meaningful change. Together, we can begin to recognise patterns that may no longer serve you, develop new perspectives, and find more adaptive ways of responding to life’s challenges.
Children & Adolescents
Growing up can be challenging, particularly during adolescence, when significant emotional, social, and academic changes take place. I work with young people from the age of 10 onwards, supporting them through these developmental stages.
Therapy provides a space to explore feelings, strengthen emotional regulation, improve communication, and support the development of identity and resilience. Where appropriate, I also offer diagnostic assessments to better understand a young person’s needs and guide the most suitable approach to care.
For those under 16, consent from both legal guardians is required. Depending on the young person’s age and needs, parents may be involved in aspects of the process, while always respecting the adolescent’s privacy.
Services
Parents
I also offer parent sessions alongside individual therapy for children and adolescents.
These provide a space to reflect on your child’s needs, develop a deeper understanding of the difficulties they may be experiencing, and consider how best to support them at home.
They can also be helpful in thinking about family dynamics, patterns of communication, and strengthening connection within the family.
Diagnostic Assessments
Where appropriate, I offer diagnostic assessments for children, adolescents, and adults.
These can provide valuable insight into emotional, cognitive, and behavioural patterns, helping to clarify individual needs and inform the most appropriate support or treatment.
If you would like to explore whether an assessment may be helpful, you are welcome to get in touch.
